Over the time i have been here, i have seen a few good ideas pop up in the "Feedback forum".

I keep seeing ppl come up with some decent ideas, they are discussed, but it seems like nothing comes of them?

Can something be done to update the status of some of these ideas.

After some discussion, either accept of decline the idea and ithen mplement the idea and close the topic. :?:

I was thinking along the same lines. No real changes in some time.

What exactly can the moderators do? Isn't the only person that can really change the site John (composimo)?

Mods can moderator the forums, they hold no ability to modify it. Only the admin can do that. Only reason I know is I ran a forum at one time, and phpBB hasn't really changed in a while.

Hmmm...
I see where you're priorities are, just leave us hanging... :D

Didn't realize you were moving, just wondering if any of the ideas were or would be going anywhere.

What are some of the changes in mind, any updates?

-I would like to see a feedback option. Give members the ability to leave feedback for one another when involved in transactions.

-Ability of the author of a classified ad to "close" the ad once something has been sold.

There is only so much i can do with limited PHP coding knowledge... but i've talked with a couple of people who know PHP fairly well, and trying to see what all can be accomplished here.... but in all honesty, since that last post i made, i still have not put a moments thought into it.... i've been too busy moving my shop, and basically dieing when i get home, because it is just me and my Father doing the moving of things...... loooooong hours, and TOUGH crap to move...

Like today, i had to move my wonderful air compressor, and put it in storage (the other shop i'm going to already has a nice compressor).... sucker prolly weighs 450lbs... to fit in the truck, i had to physically lay it on its side, pick it up and put a rolling shelf under it (aka hand cart with no handle), 'load it on the truck, then take it off, and put it into storage, but before i did that, i had to stand it BACK up.... and since my dad is not in the greatest physical condition, and i really didn't want him hurting himself, i got to do it myself.... so yea, i think i tore something... but its standing up dangit!!! hahah! But anyway, this was one of about 200 items i relocated just today.

But, the end is near... for now on out, its all small easy stuff... so once thigns get settled down, and i get caught up at the OTHER shop, which i haven't been able to work at for the last 2 weeks cause of the moving, i'll get back to thinking about modifications to this site to make it even better 8)

John you sound like me, Do for everyone all the time and then when you need the help the help is scarce.
Took me like 5 months to move out of my old house, me my dad and my cousin.
If I lived a few states closer...

Yeah seriously. All one has to do is ask. ;) I figured you had it taken care of. But I would really consider going down to help out over a weekend if I knew help was needed! Seriously, John. You have my number.

ATL roadtrip? 8) I think John said he has to be fully moved by the 1st though. I am going down there for my swap next weekend, if you want to help out?

Before we condemn my friends and southeast CRX crew for not helping, i must also point out that i did not ask anyone for any help either.... so... the fact that no one helped out is not a big surprise to me

But thank you everyone, and those who PM'd for their offers of help.

As of now, 99.5% of the moving has been accomplished in a 1.5 week span of time (it took longer, but thats the amount of time we had the rental truck)... not too bad in my book.

I'll post some new pictures of the 'new' shop in a few days once i get settled in 8)

But yea, i think my back is about dead right now :p
