I've been a Niagara Meet participant since N6, with the exception of last year, and I was wonderig who might be down for a nice little Ohio meet durring the NASA Championship, on Sept 15-17 weekend? Besides having a nice little get together we could all gather, and watch some Honda Challenge action, camp out, go junkyard shopping at the local yards,

BTW Crestline the place I live used to have the biggest junkyard in the country. It isn't anymore, but they still have a good selection, and low prices. I just kinda had this idea a few minutes ago, after people were complaining about their local yards selections.

I've always ever since N6 wanted to organize my own meet here in Ohio, and I figure why not. It would be a great time. One thing this meet will not be is a car show. There will be no prizes, just a place for us to come together and meet up, and have a great time with our cars, and the people who own them. Kinda like Niagara used to be. I still love Niagara, don't get me wrong, but N6 by far was the best meet I've ever been to. Besides that I should have my CRX done by then, and it will be something for me to look forward to.

Unofficial Unorganized Ohio CRX meet Schedule.
Friday all day, all Night.
Early Arrivials meet up at Mid Ohio.
Friday evening get drunk sit around campfire, tell stories.

Saturday
Early AM
Junkyard shopping convoy invades Crestline junkyards.
Go to bucks, crash go carts and get kicked out.
Back Country Ohio Spirited Ride.(Romp your CRX around Ohio countryside)
Meet back up at teh track @ 2pm to watch qualifing races.
6pm Go to Crestnam(my secret Samurai test facility) for first ever H-T paintball war.
After paintball either invade Mansfield street scene with a barage of CRXes, or go back the track for the next festivity.
Saturday Evening get drunk sit around campfire, tell stories.

Sunday
Hang out all day at the track, mabey go on another ride.
Watch the races.
Have a good time.
Sunday evening depart from race track.

All Events are just stuff for people to do, you can do whatever you want, but I figured I would put some activities together for us to do. Lots of the junkyard shoppers might spend all day in Crestline, on Saturday. There is allot of stuff to be picked over there.

One rule is going to be enforced. Nobody acts stupid. There will be alcohol there, and people are welcome to drink, but some of the stuff that went on at Niagara in recent years will not be tolerated, Sherrifs patrol the track, and you could be arrested, or asked to leave. As far as drugs and illegal substances, I don't care as long as I don't see it, and if you get caught, you had nothing to do with our group.

As far as distances

Minnesota is about 12hrs
Niagara is about 5hrs
Florida is about 18hrs
NC is about 6hrs
NYC is about 9hrs
Vermont is about 12hrs

Those are all of the places I've traveled so I don't know any others.

I'll get stef to go with me, maybe also the guy that's buying my car (should be on here next week).
You can probably pick me up along the way... I have a three person tent too. Thats a little far for me to plan right now, but sounds like a good time.

Yeah I want to make this a yearly meet at mid ohio. If all goes well and enough intrest is shown, an open track day might be in the near future. If not, then we will just have meets at events such as this.
