Well i got a little tired of the fart can that was on the crx and decided to de rice it a little more So last night i went out in the garage and took it off, had a flow master left laying around from the monte carlo and thought it would sound a little quieter than the way it was ( it was soo soo soo loud) i think it has a nicer sound to it. . . .I just welded it on to my axle pipe and then made a 3 inch 90 pipe for it. . . cut a hole in the side of it and joined the other outlet piece into it for a dual tip look both pipes are 3 inch and fill out the rear nicely. . . .sprayed them flat black header paint it looks a little more subtle than the shiney chrome thing. . . .

what do ya think. . . .

Video is pretty bad. Can't really gauge how good it sounds because of the bad quality. Was it taken on a cell phone?

its actually pretty quite for a ( loud) system. . . If you like loud you should buy the canister that i have for sale. it was 5 times louder than this. . .im glad it is gone.. .
i dont understand it really. . .I took this complete exhaust system off of a crx with a b18 in it and it sounded perfect. . . . i put it on my crx with a b18 and all of a sudden it is louder than all get out. . . totally baffles me.. . . the only thing i can think of is my high compression slugs compared to the stockers that were in the stock engine. .

anyhow it sounds a whole lot better with this setup and the flat black gives allot more of a subtle appearance than the chrome canister rice boy thing. .

I dont know the quality kind of is bad but I quess I can relate it to my borla exhaust loud but not harsh like 95% of the rest of exhaust.

i would buy your old muffler but i just put dual side exit exhaust on my first gen or would that be called quad exhaust ??? there is one pipe coming out on one side with 2 square tips and the same on the other side

no i dont but i an get one tomorow here is a pic to give an idea of what i mean

and yeah i have a cherry bomb there lol just as a fill in untill i find a megnaflow or flowmaster that will fit in the little space i have there :lol:
but i guess it doesnt matter since i have my engine pulled untill i get my fuel injection harness in there :rolleyes1: :lol:
