I just won these:


I was wondering if anyone else has installed them just below the radio or if anyone has seen a write up about how to install them flush so they don't look like crap?

If there's no write up on these, I'll do a step by step with pics as I install them.

It looks like a DIN-size assembly, and the cubby beneath the radio is smaller than that. Time to break out the dremel. I don't know how you'll mount it stable though.

I've seen them in the CRX before, I just don't recall where.

Yes, it's a bit bigger than the small cut out, so I'll be dremeling a bit to get it to fit. As for stability, I'll probably have to fab something in the rear to stabalize it, much like with the back strap on the head unit.

94+ integra cupholder modded into the stock center console in place of the ashtray and cig lighter is clean.

i use it a lot.

Ok, I'm hooked. lol. I jsut ebay'd some DC2 carbon fiber cup holders. lol.

I'll have to repost the Taurus ones I guess. I really like how nice the Integra unit matches up. I never use the ashtray or lighter, so having the cupholders down lower sould be great.

Does a 20oz bottle fit? Does it interfere with shifting at all?

20oz plastic coke bottle wont fit. 16oz al can is perfect.

you trim the pointy corners to fit. i literally duct taped it on. use your imagination.

i cant say what normal clearance is. i have no problem, but i have an acid beaver special shift lever (rewelded and customized from stock).

btw, it wasnt my idea. someone on honda tech showed it first.

I never claimed to have a cnc machine, unless you're refering to James.

In my beater, I just took two pieces of exhaust, welded them to a straight piece of steel, and wedged it between the seats so that there is an exhaust piece on each side of the Ebrake lever. Simple, cheap, and effective. I'll post pics when I get a chance. It's snowin like a mutha out there right now!!!

NICE and looks very stock!

I used Taurus cup holders in my '93 hatch for a little bit. They fit perfectly where the radio used to be.
Not sure how they would fit or look in a Crx, but seems the Integra ones would look much better!
