The beer here in morman-ville is no more than 3.2% unless bought in the liquor stores.....so yeah, you can drink like a sailor and spend wayy tooo much for a decent buzz..... :rockon:

i stay with vodka, easier and faster to get drunk...

Basically anything with alcohol in it tastes like the backside of a llama. My choice drink is usually gin & tonic though.

I remember first hearing about Utah having low alcohol levels in beer from a movie called - SLC Punk. (SLC-salt lake city). Great movie! Too bad for the beer though....

I lived in Oklahoma for 2 years, they had the same 3.2% beer in local stores, but on military bases it was full-strength.

I'd drive to Utah for free beer. Driving home would be the problem.

Im a discriminating alcoholic, any clear liquor is bad news as far as taste goes, gin, vodka, are the two worst hard liquors on the planet.....Rum, Bourbon, and 15+ year old Scotch is where its at!

Im also very particular about wine.

How did you guys swing this? I think we need to get this to happen somewhere in New England!

Downest, a couple years ago I was passing through Vegas and there were several people there from the CRX Resource. I figured what the heck, I would post up that I would buy the beer if they wanted to get together.
We met up and had a great time. They were younger and didn't have much money, but they were generous with everything they had. I'm older and to drop $100 is nothing for me. We had a great time and became friends.
So when SIred91 joined the board we started talking about meeting for coffee and I figured I would use the free beer approach again. It seems to work pretty well.
Jfrolang, SLC Punk is a great movie! The next time I'm headed to Benning I will look you up. Free beer Atlanta is coming!

Benning is about 2 hours south in Columbus, but that's not a big drive. There are other rexers around here, and at least one or two in columbus, so we could make a meet of it.
