Is it a good idea?
Yes in the sense that the glassroof is ill
No in the sense if you have a problem with the wrong person, or park in a bad hail storm, or park under a tree, or wreck, you may have a shattered roof, which is expensive to replace.

But I myself dont care, and have on, and when I get my next straight bodied CRX its goin on

Oh I misunderstood you, I thought you meant glassroof as in the JDM glassroof, but Im guessin now you mean the glass sunroof on the hatch.
Same concept though, a little different since you cant just swap roof skins, but I'm sure you could have a body shop graft it onto your roof

Glass aftermarket sunroof?

I am guessign this is what ou are getting at / / / not that hard really. . . . .Wack out a big hole in your roof. . . This is the hardest part. .. . wacking a big hole in your roof. . . . . after you get over the chock of what you just did. . . . .just bolt her in there. . . . . you can do it yourself. . . .but it would be better to have a shop that does this all the time take care of it for you . .. .and look for a place that will warranty against leaks. . . alot of these aftermarket roofs are prone to leaking as a result of poor quality and poor installation. . .

in my opinion they take away from the look . .. . but on the other hand it is nice to have a sunroof..

Unless your talking about the glass power sunroof from the hatchbacks, they slide INSIDE the roof if I remember correctly, we don't have enough roof for that.

You could use the one from the hatch and just don't let it open all the way. No one would really know, they'd just think you only opened it part way because thats how you like it...

Which is the exact reason i would stay away from aftermarket sunroofs.
Most of the ones i have seen sooner or later leak.

Which is called a moonroof and would never fit a Crx.
As stated, not enough roof for the glass to slide into and the Crx roofline is different from the hatch obviously.
