Hey guys i was just wondering if anyone would know or have any ideas of what could be wrong. I was driving last night and turned on my heater and it would not get hot. Usually after the engine been running and ive been driving the heater would heat up in the car fast. Anyone have anything for me i'd really appreciate it thanks guys.

if its not getting hot usually your coolant is just low, or one of the 2 flapper valves is stuck shut. check your coolant level first.

List of things to check:

- Coolant level, bleed it properly
- Check the heater valves, hit them with some lube and manually turn them on and off, make sure they are free
- Check to make sure the blower does come on, it might be dead
- Pull the center console cover off, and check the cables in the back of the control, make sure they are all connected and that the control isnt broken
- If everything is good, your heater core is dead and you might be leaking coolant inside your car...

ok it turns out im leaking coolant but im not sure if its from a the radiator, a hose or what? its a little pin hole leak. It started leaking today. its weird because i filled it back up with coolant and the thing stopped leaking what do you guys think?

I think your heater core is on the way out, that's what I think...sorry about your luck. It's a cheap part, relatively, and you need to pull the dash out to replace it. If your like me, you can pull your dash in 30 minutes, tops. But if you've never done it, it will take you a bit.

well, i wouldnt assume it was the heater core unless it was actualy leaking from there.

where is it leaking from?

The coolant seems to be leaking up front where the radiator is

Ive come to the conclusion that my radiator has to be changed anyways cuz its leaking coolant but will that fix the heater problem what do you guys think need help asap my crx is my only car and i go to work next week.

yes if your leaking coolant from the rad, and it was low, replacing the rad and filling it with coolant will make you fully functional again.
