Hello, my name is Heu and I'm an alcoholic

Well, not really but I do go through 2-3 cases of budweiser a week. No, not alone! Hello? I'm an alcholic, not a drunk for Christ sake. 2-3 cases between me and friends, aka peer pressurers. Nah jk, it's not even like that. We just like kickin' back sometimes after work. So my point in all this?... umm none really important, just wanted to say wassup (yap) to my fellow alcoholics, ahem I mean beer lovers.

Cheers, and know your limit so you make it to work everyday ontime like I do. (aint missed a day in 5+ years due to alcohol)

And nope, not tui; if you see me here giving fix it up advice, I'm 100% straight.

huh? are you drunk?
w...t...f

p.s. hurrrah for beer...!
No Scott, am not and was not.

And dang, caneven gitta wassup from any fellow alcoholics? I sorta recall a thread (not sure if it was here or at the Resource about beer) and there were like a quarter kajillion replies. Now that I put the word alcoholic into it, no one wants to man up huh? LOL jk dudes. And I know what some o'yalls thinkin too. [we don't go thru 2 cases a week] But... it's only been that way for the passed couple weeks. Not to mention I'm what some call a 2canSAM. That means some other peoples drunked them cases. And I don't drink by myself, really I don't, no really really I don't. Oh, and if you've seen the other "hello my name is" thread, I'm turning over a new leaf. No more spending money on useless junk. That includes excessive bar tabs.

Alright, all this typing has made me thirsty. Gotta grab a soda. :D
hey man, I said "hurrah for beer" plus my uncle, a couple grand / great grand parents, and my brother were / are alcoholics (for real). my brother seems to be trying to stop, though. he is back at home with his family recently.

so anyway congrats on turning a new leaf and buy some stock in pepsi-cola.

:D
It's not the volume of alcohol that makes me uneasy, it is the choice of beer.
LOL you are such a lightweight Heu. I will own you at drinking!!!

again :p
meh.. 2-3 cases a week isnt bad.. what I love is when your in college there is no such thing as an alcoholic.. the more you drink.. the more you know how to have a "good time".

I third that, I do. Only it's some of the cheapest stuff that wont give me a pounding headache. Can't drive a truck for a living and afford 2-3 cases of that expensive German brew or whatever that's for sure. Well, I could if I didn't piss away 1500+ a month right? Oh, nothing oh so special about Sam Adams but me likes the boston lager very much.

Mr. Sillyness, it's easy to say that when you're 6'4 210. Hey just to warn you, my tolerance has gone up since we last kicked it. It'll take 2.5 beers to make me puke this time! Now what jigga?

Oh, and I still owe you a visit dude. I know it's like a year overdue but now that bowhunting is out of season and I'm too lazy to touch any of my cars I'll be sure to make a concerted effort to organize my schedule thus a visit. Still got the same cell right?

p.s. still can't believe a lil asian dude named Pete beat you at... *ahem, sorry let's not disclose that. LOL just f%#in with you homie.
your cases are pussysized anyway.

I went shopping last weekend. Bottom one is empties.
This will last me a while on my own.

On average I drink 2-3 beers a night...some nights none at all, some nights a few more.

Oh, I know you want to know.
Top one, Palm is belgian beer. 8%
This one's a toughie. It doesn't taste as heavy as it is...so you'll hammer a few down, and when you get up to piss you topple over.

Middle one, Grolsch is dutch beer. 5%
A bit hoppish light colored beer. Similar to Heineken. (Not counting the watered down export stuff) But a little stronger.

Bottom one, Hertogh Jan. 5.1%
My beer of choice. It's relatively cheap, but still top end A-quality beer.
A bit more fruity than Heineken and Grolsch.

I had a couple of Sam Adams at mark's place...but I can't remember wich one is wich to compare.

yes but your 2-3 a night doesn't add up to 2-3 cases a week. hahaha

Hey Bas, hope you're not storing beer like that. I don't know if European beer is any different but here, if you take beer out of refrigeration and set it in room temperature for more than a couple hours then put it back in the frig, It's pretty much junk. It seems to lose some carbonation and tastes stale after that.

Oh, that pic reminds me of a month and a half ago at buddy's house warming party: 13 guys, 13 cases, 6 hours, all beer go bye bye.

Alright, typing on the clock here, must go now.
i just made my first batch of home brew. made an IPA mixed with a red. came out real nice. has quite a bit of alcohol in it too. i drank me a 22oz last night. i'll usually have a few beers every other night. on the weekends i can put away a few. usually 7~8 on an easy night and 15 or more on a let's get drunk night.

but yes, beer is great, drink lots of it. it's about that time of year to start picking up some hoegarden. i love that beer.
I drink like 2-3 beers a week

I guess thats not too bad of a thing. By the time I get home these days, I just want food and my pillow.
I drink wine or beer every day, but seldom do I go beyond 2 servings.
I like beer too. My favs:

yuengling, blue moon, most sam adams, bud light, and some others.

And I say you're only an alcoholic if you go to meetings. later,

I'm a blue moon fan. Good beer for what you pay for it. I like to pick up a 12 of that and a 12 of new castle when guys come over for a weekend of video games, grilling out and freestyling/beat making. i will throw in kilians as well. nice to have a choice when you go back for another and another.

for the long drinking days i'll pick up some bud select. easy to drink lots of that. corona also goes down like water when the weather warms up. kind of pricey for what you get though.

i have to say i've never had a bad sam adams (except for the cherry wheat). just had a local beer tasting with all sam adams beers. the sam lite is the best lite i've had. i'm still a fan of the original lager. the cream stout ain't half bad along with the spring white.

We don't store our beer refrigirated at all. It sits like this pretty much until you put it in the fridge to drink it. It keeps for about a year like that.

As far as im conserned sam adams makes the best beer the world over and you are right.. the cherry wheat is gross.. Im a belgian white fan so I really love their white ale. Similar to blue moon but I think its better. GO USA. lol
