Hey. Just got back from N12 and was told by a few people there, especially Ollie, to come and check out CRXCommunity.com so I am. My name is Mike. Some of you know me from other forums like Honda-Tech.com and Vitalmotion.net as CRX Forum.

Here is my 1990 Honda CR-X SiR. I picked it up last October and imported it myself through a broker. If you have any questions about getting one into Canada I have no problem answering any questions you have to the best of my ability. I do not know of how to import one into the US other than a few rumours that have floated around, but they are not really legal. Anyways here are the specs of my car.

1990 Honda CR-X SiR

Engine:
1st Gen B16A
Mugen Header
Kakimoto Exhaust
Spoon ECU
Spoon VTEC Controller
NGK Spark Plug Wires

Exterior:
OEM JDM Goodies
Mugen Pro II Aero Kit

Interior:
Mugen FG360 Steering Wheel
Razo Pedals
Skunk 2 Shift Knob
Mugen Shift Knob (not on the car at the moment)
OEM JDM Goodies

Wheels & Suspension:
15" Mugen MR5 Rims
Bridgestone Potenza GIII Tires (Tyres For Ollie)
Mugen Springs
Tokico VS Sport Shocks
Spoon Front Strut Bar
Spoon Rear Strut Bar
Ingals Camber Kit

Stereo:
Some Alpine Double Din Deck From Japan
1 Kenwood 6.5" Speaker
1 Alpine 6.5" Speaker
1 Clarion 6.5" Speaker
1 Pioneer Carriozerra (Or however you spell it) shelf speaker.
LOL The lamest stereo setup ever!

Other Notes:
The car is an SiR so it comes with the glass roof, leather and cloth seats, double din stereo system. It also has one touch power windows, back seat, LSD transmission, automatic air conditioning, ABS, power steering and a few other options here and there.

Pics:

Here is my other CRX that used to be my cool car but now has been bumped back to winter beater status since the 1990 SiR showed up last year. Here are some specs on it.

1988 Honda CRX DX

Engine:
Its a D15B and goes 18sec in the 1/4mile

Exterior:
Wings West Urethane Kit
91 CRX Taillights
1-800-USA-ARMY Sticker
Option Drift Magazine Sticker

Interior:
Si Conversion
Asimo Robot Plush Hanging From Mirror

Wheels & Suspension:
15" Integra GSR Fat 5s
Tokico Blues Shocks
Ground Control Coilovers
Noname Brand Front Strut Bar

Stereo:
2 6.5" Clarion Speakers
Clarion Deck With No Working CD Player
XM Sattelite Radio

Other Notes:
Its automatic, slow, gets crap gas mileage and I cant figure it out because I replaced the whole fuel system. The rear 1/4 panels are rusted out and so is one of the rockers. Im thinking about redoing it over the summer and painting it camoflague. But Ive had the car since 1999 and it aint going anywhere because it was my first.

Pictures:

So ya thats pretty much it.

Sweet siR, too bad they are hard to get in the USA. Else I'd get one! Anyway, welcome and that avatar is hilarious!

Glad to see you made it back Mike. That SiR is one gorgeous machine. I am blown away with the detail that Mugen fitted the upgrades with. That kit fits so much better than a Wings West it's not even funny. The engine bay is THE most modern bay you you will ever see in a CRX from Honda. The car must be seen up close (and stick your head under in a few places) to be truley appreciated.

I am done gushing now.

Welcome to the site! Beautiful cars. Sorry everybody is trying to pounce on them. Don't let that SiR out of your sight!
