Yeah, the CRX is a friggin beast!!! I drove mine right up to my apartment door between a few trees that a truck wouldn't fit between. I then loaded up an entertainment center that was taken apart along with some shelves. I had three large boxes filled with beer bottles up front, over 100 different types of bottles. Two cases of my home brew that didn't turn out well also. On top of the car I had my 34" wide screen TV box filled with other boxes and trash. Drove it all to the dumpster.

been there, done that. I fit a love seat in the hatch, barely, ended up just using the hatch pistons to hold the thing in. Glad I only had to go a mile, but the couch was pretty mint :p

Heh. I hauled a new gas grill (in it's box) home in my rex. I had to remove the cargo bin behind the seats in order to get the box to slide in via the hatch. It was maybe 2" short of the roof, had about 3" of play between the rear interior panels and box sides, and I had to slide the seats 3/4 of the way forward. Needless to say, the hatch had to be tied down for the 5 mile drive home. I would post a pic or two, but the HD they were on seized.

How about an over-stuffed swiveling living room chair? Picked it up at my wife's parent's house in Moraine, OH, and drove it 500 miles to Newark, DE (hatch totally closed!).

I've had 5 people as well... they were my little sister and her friends, but still!

I brought my motor back from RI in the HF... that was funny at the toll booth when the collector saw the motor in the back. I also had 3 sets of tires, 8 13" slicks and my all seasons on my stock Si wheels, two of the slicks were in the passenger seat. My stepdad brought a new dryer, in box, to my grandmother's house in his CRX back in 95.

Oh, yeah- hauled our 36" TV home from KMart in the back, and when I was building my house, I regularly hauled 2x4x8's totally within the car (diagonally) just by laying down the passenger's seat.
