For real. If someone runs into your car while it's parked in a lot, you don't get a new car even though its 0% your fault. Same deal here. The best the guy can do is have them fix it and talk them into giving him a great trade-in deal on a new one...to think that they would just hand him a new car is absurd.

I'd be pissed if I finally bought a new car and it got trashed like that...but s*** happens. I don't blame him for wanting to trade it in to have a new car that's unmolested.
