gl with your repair.
h3ll, and it'd probably still be cheaper than the rape of a price honda charges for a new one.stickershop said:I say we get someone with a CNC machine to make replacement pieces out of billet aluminum and then powercoat them flat black. That way, they'll never crack again!
well that encourages me to finish it! i'll be pretty blitzed this weekend, so it should be finished and posted next week for sure.Ri0uXx said:damnRagnaarok said:btw, it's a lot harder to get back in once it's in one piece than when you take it out (usually in two pieces).

There was a guy on the resource a few years back that did exactly that, he was selling aluminum HVAC faceplates in the finish of your choice for $17, but he's since disappeared. I bought one with a polished finish.stickershop said:I say we get someone with a CNC machine to make replacement pieces out of billet aluminum and then powercoat them flat black. And I'll mail it to you quick! :lol:downest said:If you PM CRX Toad on Honda Tech he can hook you up with a replacement plastic faceplate.
Yup, I was well aware of that solution. It's cheap, but it looks kinda ghetto. If we could get the entire HVAC front block made out of billet, that would be amazing.jfrolang said:There was a guy on the resource a few years back that did exactly that, he was selling aluminum HVAC faceplates in the finish of your choice for $17, but he's since disappeared.
