I was just flipping through a popular science and saw this in the "What's New" section. This thing is sweet, can't wait for more of them to come out so the price will drop down (this one is $2500  ) Takes all of the headache of making a durable in car PC from scratch though...someday I will put one together, if I ever stop buying engine stuff.

I removec my car PC that was juste like this one. You're going to die because you'll crash yourself while trying to get that damned pointer to click on the right spot with your big fat finger.

Not worth it, unless you have a jug wheel for mouse control.

As nerdy as it may sound a Nintendo WiiRemote would be extremely useful in applications like these. All that is needed is bluetooth. There are many programs that let you use the wiimote as a pointing device/mouse. There is also one program that automatically connects your wiimote when its turned on and runs a script that you have either written yourself or have preloaded.

If I ever run a car pc i would most likely do a wiimote.
