Finaly, after 3 months I can now fix the front end of my rex.
But it gets even better, the parts are coming from a MINT rio red 90-91 CRX Si that got pulled off the interstate. Whoever owned it before managed to run something into the rear driverside quarter. Busted the rear drivers glass and all the hatch glass. Its a sad sight. But when I say mint I mean MINT. Not a spot of rust, stock everything. And from the doors forward, all the parts minus the hood (unsure) are in great shape. The sucker even still starts and runs! But the back drivers wheel is shoved up,(rim and tire is fine) and LCA is pretty much screwed. I think I can salvage the rear disc brake though. I know everything on the passenger side is good.

The even better part is, its only got 112k on it! 8) :greenbanana:

I havent had a chance to look at the motor yet as it has locking hood pins (?) One is busted but the other is in good. Which is wierd....completely stock 90-91 Si....With only a bra and hoodpins, and possible security sys.

Insurance didnt want, its totaled, owner cleaned out everything....Its ALL MINE! Sorry if I seem to be more excited than usual but, finding something like this, in the middle of the apps, is very RARE. I got lucky that a relative spotted and asked about it. And I went and bought it as quick as I could. I can now fix EVERYTHING on my car, plus get rear disc brakes, better motor (if its as good as the rest of the car), New doors, minty Si seats with the red stitching in the middle.....I cant wait to rip both cars apart! Pretty much giveing mine a new lease on life like Ive wanted to do for awhile now. Its served me well and deserves this. (Im attached to my car....okay?)

Im going to try to get picks of it tommrow, its sad, but it helps me in the end and I kinda hope the original owner is alright. I just wonder how they managed it.

Oooo...Rear cargo cover!!

Okay Im done...

congrats on the find, GL with the rebuild of your car.

but, I gotta say it...

I feel bad for that "mint" rio red rex! If it was in such great shape, it's really too bad it got F'd.

The seats, fabric wise, are minty. However the passenger sides frame is busted, so it wont sit up, it just lays back. Ill probably swap the seat pan off mine, Carpet is clean, but I didnt see any floor mats unless they are somewhere else in the car. I was in a hurry and was just running by. The front end it great, except for the hood due to the pins. The center section of the tail light might be alright, but Im not sure. I havent it hauled anywhere yet, it still sitting at the garage. I plan to move it soon though...and look over it more thoroughly.

Whatever the car hit, it hit HARD. Thats all I can say, Im wondering how the driver feels at this point. But I dont even know when it was wrecked.
:edit:
Errr wait, just realized fixing that seat might be harder than that....*Duh*

Ah ok I wasnt sure about the handle section....Well cool then. Thanks Seti...
Im waiting on my uncle to call and let me know when hes ready to move it...Then I'll pull everything off the front, mostly the drivers side and cut out that section of the headlight light frame and the frame itself just in front of the left motor mount. Then take my car and that peice to a body shop and have'em weld in the one I cut out, and make sure everythings straight. At least thats the plan.... :rolleyes1: :p To get mine fixed.

After that Ill just strip pretty much everything off it lol.

:edit: I need to lay off the cold medicine..I just realized how many grammer errors where in my lost post.... :?
