I miss my CRX!!!

Hello from dreary England.
Well I've been here for a week or so now. Up in the midlands, near Doncaster. I've been given a newish Volvo s40 with a 1.8L to drive around. While I can say that its got a pretty stiff, rigid chassis for a 4 door saloon, its still not a crx. I've been looking at some classifieds because I think I want a ukdm vt model, i think. Looks like I may be able to get one on the cheap for about 2000 pounds. So thats like 4000 usd. I'm going to have to wait a couple months before i can save that much. But hopefully by the summer....... and then i'll hav to see what it'll take to import it back to the states later on.
Anyway, if anyone here is in England, or knows anyone here who wants to sell me a sweet rust free, well running VT in a couple of months, you be sure to let me know!

I miss my crx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try and save £3,000 and you can get an siR EF8.

This one is going cheap though (92' Gunmetal Glassroof siR - £2,150)

But if you are feeling rich this is going for £5,200...

I hope the owner is female. I really do.
I agree with Mark. Maybe it's the color, or the wheels, or the clear bumper lights, or the US corner lights, but I just don't like Mr. Minty.
Yea but £3000 is about $6000, not exactly what I'd call a bargain. Anyway, we'll see in a month or two. I've not much else to spend my money on except school loans and beer.
Tom, Matt, how are you twos guys doin???

Yea, Tom, I was thinkin about an Elise, but its really about £10k for something good thats not more that 10 yrs old. That is basically way over my nearly-a-poor-man's budget. So a coule a quid on a VT or SIR crx would be more suitable. Actually, i just talked to a guy at work today who is tinking of selling his 99 gsxr600, so maybe I'll get a bike and keep the company volvo. Basically road tax and insurance are high out here. Bummer.

It's good out here man, no rain, warm winter, you know how it goes. Whatever you end up getting, will you import it back to the US when you return? A bike would be cool, but with all the rain I don't know just how much fun you'll be able to have on it. The Gixxer is a lot of fun, I've ridden a couple and they are like all the 600cc bikes... way too damn fast! Look for a Hornet (919) or one of the Fireblade CBRs, at least get something you can't buy in the states. At least the bikes aren't RHD!

So that's where all the mugen kits are... in the UK. :?

:p
We have managed to get a mould made of the whole authentic Mugen siR kit, the quality and fit looks very good so far.
