So I'm stuck now with trying to get spark on my new motor. I'm using a y7 dizzy, which I've been told should work fine. I soldered in the harness to connect it, and checked it multiiple times. There is power from the coil, but it's not getting to the plugs, so I replaced the cap/rotor today. Still, no start. Now, I noticed the output from the coil on this dizzy is just a little spring, and on my old one there's a pin on the end of the spring. Should this one have a pin as well? I'm getting really frustrated, I've gone through everything multiple times to make sure it's right, and I can't figure out why I'm not getting spark.

There definately should be something installed on top of the spring. It is pretty small and it easy to miss.
