I'm really happy this thread worked out ok, it was getting a little heated. I have been checking in thinking I may have to lock it, but I'm glad I didn't have to. I'm glad everyone can get along, that's what the community is about.
Cody, you might want to check out Endyn's articles on D-series bottom end building before you rebuild. You can smooth out and open up the oil passages pretty easily, which might help your motor out.
