New to me CRX had some not so well done modifications done, one being injectors that were way too rich leading to an overheat most likely. Engine has been resurfaced and is all ready to go, just need new injectors. I've been searching months online to no avail, anyone have any leads on replacement injectors for an 89hf d15? Or what could possibly be a safe aftermarket option. My goal with the car isn't speed it's mpg. Thanks!

Are you 100% sure it's a different fuel injector?

Do you still have the original exhaust system installed, or is it a different exhaust system installed?

If you still have the catalytic converter installed, make sure it is not clogged up.

Aftermarket exhaust is on it currently with no cat. I've had the original injectors sent to be redone but they were all over the place flow wise. I've bought, tested, and returned pretty much every listing I can find on ebay under 06164-PM8-A00 and fj266. There's one that looks promising on amazon but doesnt ship to my location of course. Everything I've returned has been flow tested and failed by my injector guy. Had success with three injectors out of an 88 HF but the forth was leaking so I still need one.

If the aftermarket exhaust is a different size from the original HF mpgs can be a bit different.

At least all you need now is just 1 F.I.

BTW do you recall what is the HF fuel flow rate of the fuel injectors?
