I just got a cold air intake yesterday, I was puzzled when I took out the old air intake. It seems like the airbox had two tubes, one going horizontally across, other goes down under the cornerlights. I was wondering does the cold air intake filter goes down under the cornerlights on the left side of the car and tube goes up and then another tube goes horizontal to connect to the engine? If so whats the most convienent way to do it. Thanks

The part that goes across the front of the engine bay is often referred to as the "snorkel" or breather tube. That is where the engine sucks the air in.

The part that goes down below inbehind the bumper is the resonator box. It helps to cut down the noise from the intake and allows a place for moisture to escape the system.
