what is the difference between Integra ECU and SI ECU other the the Red line limit?

Can you please explain to me how it affects the fuel and the timing?

Do you get better gas milage?

Thanx!
you need the right ecu for the ZC. Dohc or sohc btw? If dohc both will work but your power will not be what it could be. The teg will be better as the d16a1 is very close to the JDM zc maps. Just still not as agressive as the JDM ecu. There is always turboedit andchip your own ecu with the ZC or custom maps.
I cant tell you the exact differences between the 2 computers, but I can tell you this.. I did the zc swap, and I ran my si ecu for about a month, because my integra ecu had not come in yet.. the si ecu will run the zc just fine, but the integra one will really make a difference! I think the integra runs a bit richer on the fuel side, but it just seems to wake the zc up alot more, then when I was running the si ecu.

again, nothing technical, just my .02 cents from having been there, done that.

the pg7 is a better ecu for the zc, althought it will run the engine a bit rich compared to the proper pm7 ecu...

the rev limit is now 7500 compared to the crx 6800 which isnt even the correct redline for the zc...
