I guess apple has to keep up with sony, cause I know sony released these around june, selling psps, memory cards and stuf.

Theres a video of it in action, seems to be okay, but it can be a lotta money to put down if you wernt expecting to buy one

a robotic arm type thing picks up the product...sort of like the newer soda vending machines that pick up the drink so it doesnt get shakin up..

ive seen the sony vendors like that when i was in atlanta in the airport

I was in northern California for the IndyCar race a few weeks back and the "gift shop" in the hotel was just a few of these machines. iPod Nanos were available, along with some other high-dollar stuff. I got a Starbucks DoubleShot out of it just to see it in action.
