Back in the day I ran the Canadian CRX Forum website (hence my name) and I have a fair amount of basic how to's like removal of body parts, lights, bumpers, panels, etc etc. Just wondering if they would be useful to post in the how to section or not. Ive got no idea how knowledgeable this community is or how many lurkers there are on this site.

Yes, there is definitely a need for even seemingly *simple* how-to stuff. Things that we might think are simple, for some people who've never done them before, look (or are) very difficult. And often, looking at someone else's way of doing something will give you fresh ideas and insights into the way you're used to doing the same task.

Also, not everyone here has the factory manual for their car - but everyone here *should* have it!

Absolutely! If you can get me the info, I can have it posted in there. Probably the best thing to do is post the HOW-TO in a PM to me. Then I'll move it, host the pictures and we're good to go. And don't worry, I'll give credit where it's due. That would be extremely helpful! Thanks.

I say definately serve up as much how-to info as you can, it gives the community site even more depth and value to being a member. Plus there is always a tip or trick to doing a job that may help even a seasoned mechanic...you just never know. And for me, I've only had my rex for a few months, so...yeah bring the info!! :)

it may help to reduce the: "how do i do X" questions... and help the people too embarassed to ask

even when im doing something simple, i always like to use a checklist of steps so i dont forget something with both removal and installation... dont wanna make bigger problems for myself than ive got already
