Trying to finish up my suspension and brake work and can not tell exactley how the brake lines are routed both front and rear. 91SI with stock calipers, SS lines, and GR2 shocks if that matters.

Thanks and any help would be apreciated.

My hoses look like the ones in icarusdown's pic. Looks like you have the front 2 struts on the opposite side they're supposed to be on. Look at hte spring perch in icarusdown's pic, and then look at yours. The small notch is on the inside in his pic, and hte outside on yours.

That's causing your brake hose to be mounted opposite from ours.

I can't say it's neccessarily WRONG, but it's backwards from his pic and how mine are. I'm not a brake guy, so I can't say if this will effect things or not.

I think that's right actually... I'm not in Troy with my CRX at the moment but I remember the brackets being toward the front of the car. If the lines aren't pinched through the range of motion of the steering, you should be all set.

By the way, that thing is CLEAN. What did you use on the suspension parts to get them that colour, and is it durable?

It seems right, but the angles into the caliper just don't seem real good. Probably just because the braided lines are so stiff.

The silver on the components is powder coat.
The flat black is just flat black paint. It will hold up well as long as you use a zinc-chromate primer underneath.
The brake calipers are automotive paint.

I have not formally introduced myself (need to do a post on just that), but i worked my way through college working at a body shop and have been painting cars, tractors, heavy equipment, signs or whatever for over 20 years. I have also raced go-karts for about 20 years also.

Fixing up the CRX because nobody makes a new car that I want to buy. Almost bought a 350Z, but the tire issues turned me off. Would buy a Solstice GXP coupe if they made it.

Any paint and body questions I may be able to answer.

Thanks to all.

Looks to me like you're missing the clip that goes with the little translucent plastic piece on the brake line. Look at icarusdown's pic... That clip you can see is the one you're missing.
What brand of SS lines are those btw?
