Surgeon? Naw, more like "Meat, the Butcher".

Took the rear bumper off, found more rust on the aft end of the quarters.

One thing I'm certain of now, if you haven't pulled the bumpers and plastics off in a few years, do it.

Good idea. I haven't pulled the rocker plastic off yet on mine. I'm scared what I'll find. First time I pulled the rear bumper I had to overhaul the rusty support.

I'm going to make some preventative maintenance write ups soon when I pull some plastics and paint / undercoat the lower areas.

When I did the suspension last weekend, I noticed a few places undercoat had "dry rotted" and fallen off. Gotta touch that up. Also in the area in your pics, behind the bumper and mudguards.
