Alright, I know everyone I've talked to says the engine harness that came with my motor swap will not work with the chassis harness, and to use an HF or Si harness. All I'd like to know is why not?

The only differences I've seen between the harnesses are 13 pins versus 8 pins on the round plug by the resistor box, and one wire difference on the 14 pin round connector by the under hood fuse box. Can't I just make a little jumper harness?

Normally I would just go with the flow and use a MPFI harness, but the thing is, I don't have one.

Your thoughts?
