It was an option that is very hard to find these days... some people have mounted them from the civic or integra to work though.
It is NOT a strictly "JDM" item.racejdm said:i was wondering since i posted a thred about a jdm center console for the rexy, i was looking at pics of jdm ef8 crx's on a thred a community member posted and i was looking in the interiors pics and they dont show any arm rests, so where did the arm rest come into play for the rex ( i bought my rex with the center console i did not buy it) just a question so if anyone knows...help
The 94-01 Teg armrest is not the best choice, it is too short to meet up with the Crx shifter console. I don't know how it can be too wide, it should be the same width as a Civic and mine doesn't rub on anything.ludesrv said:I have a 94 teg console in mine and it's too damn wide. It hits the lever to flip the seat forward on the passenger seat. It's not 'bolted down' cause I don't have the bracker and it doesn't fit with my crx center console. Does anyone know why? Or is it normal for it to be so damn tight.
The entire center console from an 86-89 Integra would fit in a 4th gen Civic.ludesrv said:Mine fits the console alot nicer but it's pinched. Maybe cause it's a civic and not a crx?
Try finding one of those! Those are just as rare as civic wagons.baker423 said:The entire center console from an 86-89 Integra would fit in a 4th gen Civic.ludesrv said:Mine fits the console alot nicer but it's pinched. Maybe cause it's a civic and not a crx?
They are not that difficult to find at all.I have had a few and see a lot of 1st gens in the salvage yards. The center console is not hard to find, but finding one with the armrest is.ludesrv said:Try finding one of those! We have different yards then. Most yards around here crush all the honda/acuras from 91 and under. The only ones I see alot of are the second gen tegs. The first gens are a rare piece in our yards. Would a gen 2 fit?baker423 said:They are not that difficult to find at all.I have had a few and see a lot of 1st gens in the salvage yards.
