I could do some fun stuff with that.. . . . have a friend that clips cars for a living. . . . . . id just donate the rear of my un used crx and have it grafted together. . . . .I would find a way to get it on the road. . . .. . . how cool is that. . . . ..
Dang, that thing is CLEAN!!!
Man!
I am looking into a SiR frt end for mr hatch too...

Same here...I don't think I could sell the engine and other extras to justify buying it just for the front end conversion. I could possibly see myself paying $1800-2000 but not $2550 plus shipping.
well you have to consider your getting an engine swap too though. sell the b16 swap to offset it some but its alot of effort just for a front end.
oh you get so much more than just the swap, if you just want the front conversion, you can sell off the SiR guage cluster, every little switch in the dash. you could chop it down and probably sell the dash and firewall setup for RHD conversion for $800-1500. it probably still has the Gathers AM/FM and CD player(hardcore JDM guys love that) , and the blue VIN tag. all highly resellable parts.
Password is selling conversions too..price seems to have gone up on them.
you can buy most of the seperate pieces on EBAY if youre patient and piece them together.

some of these importers are bringing in very nice clips, the one i bought was just as clean. i bought mine from a local importer so i didnt have to pay shipping other than dinner for my friends who helped me load it.
i still say clip a usdm rear clip on it and drive it with a spec constructed title .Factory JDm with no swap mounts 0wN3z!!!!

That is why I am now I am thinking of purchasing the Vis Mugen copy. That body kit just looks sexy as hell...and this is from someone who absolutely hates body kits.

You can easily put together the Mugen copy for less than what passwordjdm sells the oem SiR front end conversion. The only problem is that no one makes a true copy of the Mugen rear bumper. I don't like the WW version at all. I need to figure out something pretty soon.
is the real mugen rear solid where the ww has the mesh? my pics arent that great of it but it looks to be the only difference.
I remember seeing that when it was posted up. Its pretty amazing to see a full one. I dont think ive seen a full one on ebay of all places for a very long time.

BTW Pag, I dont think I ever found an update to how your SiR is coming a long. Last time I saw it, it was in 2 pieces still. :p . I think you were in the process of swapping all the parts to your donor crx. Whats the update man!?
What you also have to remember is that clip has power steering! You could sell the rack and pump for a power steering conversion.
Its still in pieces..working on it now, i didnt get much done this summer, pretty busy show season for me. hopefully ill have some preview pics in a few weeks.

and i am just swapping all the SiR stuff over to my shell.

here is the best pic I could find of the rear Mugen bumper. It isn't solid but a different type of mesh. For some reason it just looks cleaner. When I think of the WW rear bumper I always have an image in my head of a flimsy and warped lower piece.

the WW kits would look cleaner if everyone painted the silver mesh they have black, or removed and/or replaced it with different material.

they would be more likely to warp being urethane as opposed to stiffer fiberglass.
