I am unalbe to read the first letter if there is one. All I can read is 15B7

The specs say that this engine is a 1.5 Liter from a 1992-95 DX or LX with 102 HP.

Is this a good engine?

Why is it in a HF? I wish I had the HF motor. I want the MPG, not performance.

What kind of Hiway MPG might I expect with this engine in a HF at Highway only traveling? Think I can get 40 plus?

i drive an HF that i had when it was stock and i swapped the motor for a D15b7 but kept the HF tranny for a while and my gas mileage did'nt change if i shift before 3k, its really all in that horribly geared tranny more so than the motor if you don't gas it alot, to tell you the truth i swear my mileage actually got better with the B7 because i think with the little 8 valve because i was constantly flooring it just to keep up with traffic it was working the motor twice as hard and burning more gas. when i put an SI tranny in i'll be lucky if i get 26-28 mpg, i always got well over 40 mpg with the HF tranny
