My stepdad was having a little trouble with his 84 Nighthawk 650, and he's been considering a new bike. Today he got a 2004 Honda 919, and gave me the nighthawk! I used to have an 84 700S, pretty similar but a little more sporty. I had to sell it for the CRX, so I'm very excited to be riding again! I'll post up some pics soon when I get it. The nice thing is I have a car now, my old bike was my only vehicle, so I couldn't do a lot of downtime with it. Anybody ever ride any of these bikes? For being 20 years old, they are surprisingly fast and agile.

My Dad has a 69 Honda CB750, pretty much fully restored, short of the $250+shipping from the UK per pipe replacement pipes. Its a fun bike, although I've never driven it. He offered me the chance, but I know how much its worth, and even more to him, so I wouldn't want to risk dumping it, lol. Thats the only bike I remember riding.

I love the old 750s, they are classic UJMs. I liked the styling of the 700S, this is my old one:

The 650 is more of a standard, no bikini fairing, but it's just as quick. I have ridden both and I think the 650 doesn't handle as well, my 700s would outhandle and outrun my roommate's Katana, with almost any rider. These bikes are solid, hydraulic valves and shaft driven, almost maintenance free.

I used to own a Honda MBX50

It's a 50cc motorcycle that you can drive from the age of 16. (cars until 18 )

...ofcourse...the tuning devil had already showed it's head...and in no-time, it changed from 50cc to 70, to 110 and 125cc's. (yes...very illegal, lots and lots of fines)

I think I busted up over a dozen cilinder walls and a couple of bottom ends...that's where I learned my basic mechanic skills.

That thing was so freakishly fast it's still giving a certain unnamed girl wich you all know nightmares. That thing did 90 miles easy.

Looked very similar to this, until I painted it dark purple with white...
