Did someone at one time have the little wiper blade spoilers for sale?

SETI can source the OEM wiper arms with the spoilers already riveted in place. Another bonus is that you'll never mix up which side they go on again. :)

I've had an odd number of requests for these.
I'll go by a wrecker to see how many I can get my hands on.

I'd be in for one...

Who would have thought a little piece of plastic would be soo useful?
plastic? mine have little metal curves on the top of the wiper IF im thinking of what your talking about.
O ya i have 2 little small ones on each wiper they work really good and they dont look too noticeable ill see if i can get a pic of them on here shortly.
I have one of those on my Impreza and I immediately wanted to take it off...I'm kind of freak when it comes to things needing to be symmetrical. Weird I know. I left it on because I guess it helps keep them down at high speeds? Still bothers me...
You could make your own! Then sell them for mad profits...

Maybe I'll do that...I'd be nice to have one to look at first though.
Yes, but make sure you test them in a wind tunnel. :)

(sorry, couldn't help it, slow pitch....)

Seriously, if you want to make some, I bet you could cut up and laminate 2-3 layers of venitian blind pieces.

Prolly take about 30 minutes to make some prototypes, and then another couple of weeks to make the wind tunnel.
The down side of them is, at 140+MPH, the little spoiler thing is pushing on the wipers so hard, that they sometimes start to wipe on their own, when they are pushed through the rest point of the little motor.

I don't see that being a problem, realistically, how many of us regulary reach speeds like that... If you are going that fast, you don't need wipers anyway.

forget the wiper spoiler things, it's wind tunnel time! :p

Mine are symmetrical :D two little metal ones on each wiper. I can reach 200km/h and hey wont make the wipers go on their own yet they still help lots at low speeds.
I have an EDM wiper also. This photo was taken to show the foglights but you can still see the wiper wind deflector on the driver's side:

Throw me on the band wagon.
You all know that PIAA makes wiper blades with attached spoilers, right? Tire Rack sells them, among other places I'm sure. Too bad the refills are stupid-expensive. I guess that's the advantage to attaching the spoiler to the arm - you can use whatever wiper assembly you want.
