I found this while browsing for honda engine info. while it doest have exactly what i was looking for (really technical numbers like bore, stroke, compression ratio, etc) it DOES have some thorough information about all manner of honda cars. what engines came in what, what options came with which cars, and a multitude of other factual goodies that scholars and simpletons alike will love to scan their eyes over.

here it is:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Honda_engines

and the article you were gonna look up first, just to save you the trouble:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CR-X

My only problem with the whole thing is that the D-series article is VERY lacking, and the author knows about it. Maybe we could help them out by composing our own article on the D-series engines and cars. The ability to do so is right on the page. If we compose something as a community, maye it will be a good way to make ourselves known a bit more.

enjoy!

That thought did cross my mind when I posted the "Engine Options" thread in the Modification Garage.
Believe me, it's probably crossed all of our minds at some point or other. The power of that setup would be awesome. However, the configuration differences between the engine setups make it pretty cost prohibitive. It would be almost entirely a custom fabrication, and there's no guarantees that it would work as intended.

hell, you could make a RWD crx and mount the engine in the trunk if you felt the need... its all about money and resources.

want a hemi V8 engine in your rex? i bet that would be fast... or a ferrari V12?
