I see you're located in the bay area. I got my 88 crx 5 speed from the pick n pull at newark, but even then it was around $250. I doubt you'll find one for under that. I'd check both San Jose North on commercial and Newark Pick n Pull websites for a manual ef. If you're lucky you can find a 5 speed for under 300. Also the 88-89 and 90-91s have different clutch spline counts so make sure to look out for that. Also you can check fb marketplace and craigslist, those are good too. Hope this helped!

nice, and yeah i know hehe just kinda threw a random number. thanks for the tip. and i actually found one last week in moss landing. took it off an 88 dx hatch. for about $250 like you said minus $40 core charge and yea your right bought new clutch and flywheel to match year of tranny
