how do you get in to change the main relay i cant get to it do you have to tear dash apart?? help please

Remove the coin tray and it is right behind..

Read the links..the easiest way to replace is to remove
the circuit board from the case and replace it with
the board from the new unit..

its a pain to get out along side of the road...
Take the coin tray out and remove it....

solder it all back up andthere is a spot a little lower where you can mount it with a 10 mm bolt and it will be easily accessable if you ever have to monkey with it along the road.. . . thats what i did.... its still hidden. but now i can pop it right out with out tools and check it over if need be. . . . just a thought

I just posted a little quick-tip in the "Odd Annoyance..." thread on this very subject. It details a little bit more what 88CRXDX referred to about removing the relay's electronics from the case without needing to remove the case (or that pesky 10mm bolt that holds it in).
