cool ride..... but save your money on the fuel rail though.... . . . stock one is just fine and its alot of money just for a small piece of bling...
Some mad mad honda engines have been built underneath the stock fuel rail... . . the other items will make a decent little increase in power...

Hey buddy, that's a really nice rex. I wouldn't buy an msd ignition though. You only need one of those if your car is heavily modified. The honda ignition system is top quality, and please bro, no body kit, that car looks sic as it is.

Hey- nice find, man!

Don't forget about the suspension. It's been my experience that even an otherwise completely stock CRX benefits from suspension improvements. Power without control is no power at all. :)b

What's your overall intention for the car?

will upgraded clutch components put more power to the wheels?
no the only time this would ever be true is unless your clutch was currently shot and slipping.... and then any clutch would do the trick....

leave it alone.... the stock clutch will handle the power for now....

youll know when it decides to go south on you... almost instantly... and then you can look into a better clutch / stiffer plate.... but till then i would leave it alone.. . also when you eventually need to replace the clutch you might want to think about getting an aluminum flywheel.... it will take some rotating mass off of your rotating assemble and make the car rev a little quicker... .

Don't do the clutch unless you're replacing it anyway, like everyone said, but I would recommend a new flywheel, lighter than stock. Personally I also like the feel of a heavier pressure plate. Don't do the skunk manifold, you can save a lot of money by using a Z6 or Y8 manifold. They are cheap and of course bolt right up.
I agree about suspension. If you think the CRX handles well now, drop an inch or so off it and get some stiffer springs and shocks, maybe a thicker rear sway and an HF front, you'll be amazed. Suspension won't just make the handling better, but it will control dive from hard acceleration or braking. You might want to look into better tires as well.

that you were driving for 4 hours without a license?

and you should always use a rubber :p

congrats, you're soon to be more addicted than if you picked up crack. These cars are great, and modding them is even better

ehh screw the license. if you get pulled over just tell the cop you forgot to get one and that it's on your current list of things to do.

new sticky tires are one of the best upgrades you can do.

no my friend with his license drove it. man i love it. yeah i know all about the importance of tires and suspension i just wanna know what else i can do for now. i'm pretty sure i'm going to get an engine rebuild in the summer 'cuz i wanna turbo it later so i need to hone and sleeve it and what not. so for the next 3 months what else can i put on the stock motor for more power i have to take off my a/c. i'm pretty sure the car is running rich because we can smell it burning and we think it's also burning some oil for the same reason, it's not leaking though. it might just be bad gas it has been sitting for like 3 months that's my theory no one believes me.

alright. so i'm selling my h.i.d's and seeing if i can get my intake and header. now i'm wondering if i wanna go with just 2.25 straightpipe from the header back (we don't have smog laws) and just throw my current axel back on that. or is it actually worth the 800dollars for a cat back system.

Id say keep the AC. You can always take the belt off if you want the 3-5 more horsepower but its nice to have AC on those hot ass days. Now why wont the Hid work on the projecter headlights? Other wise go with the intake and header, but i say go with the fuel regulater first.

the hid bulb doesn't fit in the projector's bulb housing. as far as ac. it's canada there is only like 10 days max where the window won't do the trick and it'll lose 50lbs so, why not. i was reading about the y8 intake manifold, it said i would need the y8 fuel rail. and a fuel regulator for what? my clutch is almost gone so i need an opinion. I don't know how to drive manual yet, so should i just wear out this clutch on my drive way it won't take long how will i know it's gone completely? and then put in a fidanza flywheel lightweight pressure plate and an exedy performance clutch. or should i swap out the current clutch resurface the flywheel and just buy an oem clutch, learn on that then put in the high-quality tranny components? so many questions i know. sorry.

Yeah man, ditch the AC, you're in Canada! The CRX is very well designed not to have AC, especially if you have a moonroof, air flow is great (even better if you don't plug up the hole in the firewall, hehe).
I did the manifold swap on my A6 with a Z6 manifold. You need the throttle body, rail, and FPR, because your old ones won't bolt up. Just get a complete manifold and you will be all set. If you get the injectors from a Z6 or Y8, you will need to eliminate the resistor box, but your injectors will fit fine.
How bad is the clutch? If you're going to replace it, you might as well get something better (like a lighter flywheel), but don't go nuts on the clutch itself since you don't need a lot more capacity on the stock motor, you'll just be wasting money. Personally I would go with a stiffer pressure plate, but I like the feel of a heavy clutch more.

That gets me think, should i keep me ac in or out. I'll drive it this season with it and see the difference. You'll know when the clutch is gone because you won't be able to get it in to gear without grinding gears(not a good idea). If its not to to bad, learn on it, but keep in mine that the clutch will feel a bit differant when you do get it replaced. Its better to finish burning this clutch up before you replace it. A stock clutch will run you about $20 less then a performence clutch, so wait to replace it.
