How so I remove the glass and leave the housing on the car? I'd like to just swap out the mirror. I can't figure it out at all. I watched a guy do it at N9 in the parking lot, but can't remember how he did it.
i think there is a screw that can be reached thru a hole in the bottom, id have to consult the helms to be sure, but i'm almost positive this is how it is done...
I've had a couple different screwdrivers in there, but I can't seem to locate the screw. It would be good if someone knew which screwdrver to start with. I don't have a spare mirror to look at and its hard to see in there looking upside down.
That actually really does help! There are 2 holes and I was thinking it was the one in the center but in the pic it looks like it's actually the one on the outside edge. I'll give it a shot.
FYI: Its a small phillips screw, if you move your mirror to the top outter corner and shine a trebel light or something in there you can actually see it. Goodluck and be gentle taking the mirror out after you unscrew it, you need to use some force but don't shatter the mirror!
