$1k for a VX with 'low mileage'? That dude was a dumbass for selling it that cheap.
Don't be so hard on yourself...when I miss out on deal like that, I just have to tell myself there was a reason for me to miss out and it was probably too good to be true. Which at that price, it probably was.

Keep looking man, you'll find something.
