there IS a product out there if you do REALLY want to mold the bumpers on. It is a 2 part epoxy you can purchase at most auto body repair shops. Basically, it is a urathane in a tube, and it really bonds to the metal. The stuff can be sanded, but will eat through a ton of paper. We molded a kit my friends rex with the stuff. He drove it for the summer and hasn't had any issues I'm aware of. It might be nice for the sides, but I, on my own car, would never mold the bumpers on.
