Ok i'm new to the forum so ill start off by saluting all of you and well secondly this is a swap question. I just bought a complete D16Z6 motor out of a 93 Delsol that had been completly redone and worked great when we took it out of the car. The tranny has been changed with the one I had on my crx which worked great. I installed the motor into my crx and would like to know what to do to get all the wiring done? I dont want to go mini-me since i got the whole motor and want a clean swap. So if anyone has a complete D16Z6 swap in their crx or knows how to get my motor running feel free to let me know. Thanks alot for your attention!

The mini me that you are referring to is a combo of the vtec z6 ( or y8 ) head on an a6 block. . . .. so you will not have a mini me. . . . you have a z6. . . . to get it in there properly you will want to run the ecu from that car. . . .and convert the harness to obd-1 check out rywire for your conversion harness needs. .

Me and my friend both have rex's with z6's. We know all about this from experience. You need to get an extra a6 dist., You need to cut the two connectors and rewire the z6 dist., with the a6 connectors. You'll have to look up the wiring diagram. All the wires are the same on the exception of two. Be careful, if you mix the two up you will ruin the dist. You need to get the ecu jumper from rywire.com. They have the cheapest jumper for $114 shipped. As long as your wiring harness is for a fuel injected motor it will hook right up with the exception of the map sensor. You'll have to look the cut up on-line. That's the only thing i cant help out with but if you pm me ill give you my number and walk you trough based on my car which runs fine. Also if you need to i can help you run the engine run off of your stock ecu and dist. Let me know
