Well, I finally got off my butt and uploaded some pictures of my new CRX. Here it is:
1990 Honda CRX Si
121,000 miles
All stock condition
Bought march 4th

I've wanted a rex for over three years and was seriously searching for one since January of this year, and in the process found this site (an excellent find as well, I might add). After looking on autotrader type sites, other forums, and ebay, I finally came upon this '90 si that seemed to fit the bill. Along the way I had a couple ebay transactions that fell through, and was seriously considering BoostX's std crx he had for sale a month ago on the forum. Wanting an Si, I kept looking and went for this one due to the wealth of information the owner provided through emails / pictures and the straight, honest vibe I got from him (which proved true, thankfully). I know going through ebay ended up costing me more than if I would have found one locally, but I couldn't find one that wasn't chopped up / riced out / rusted / beat up anywhere remotely close. Price: $4,000 !

As some of you may or may not know, I drove to North Carolina from Indiana with my friend Chris to pick it up and did the whole trip in under ONE day. It was a lot of fun. We had a kind of "on a mission" attitude and didn't waste time stopping a lot or visiting any places on the way. We did hang with the seller and his friends for a bit, they all had honda / acura cars that were modded to all heck (some rice, but the seller had another crx with a b16 swap) I loved every minute of the drive home!

I've already been doing some restoring work / maintenance to it, I'll make some posts about that probably tomorrow or the next few days. Only real "problems" with the car are one small rust spot on pass. side rear (already being repaired by me) and the sunroof is...quirky. More to come on that when it warms up around here. Tell me what you think!

Nice find! Now all you need is some Si rims to go with it :)
Yeah, it just has the steel wheels with hubcaps, I thought it should have come with alloys since it's an Si...?? Were the 'teardrop' wheels on 90 and 91s or just the 91s ?

thanks for all the comments, guys. :)

and thanks for the wheel info Ti Rider, anyone know of a place to get the Si 90-91 "teardrop" wheels ? Ebay seems to have them scarce and in bad condition. I'm guessing they are just that, rare and even harder to find in good shape...??

yes i'm interested, my spring project is gettting the car close to 99% working and original, like time-warping back to the condition it would have been in the early ninties (or at least APPEAR to be)

This includes getting a set of the stock 90-91 Si alloys. Any idea on the cost ? Thanks.
