Hello Everyone,
Just to give people a heads up Geoff (Cloudpump) is taking over the N Meet and a date has been set and NEW location. New to this year is the meet will be at the camp site which should work perfect. Best part is we are having it at Rock Point Provincial Park which has more then enough room for everyone and lots of things to do in the park. There are a few large parking area both grass and gravel that hold about 200 cars each so we will make use of them.

We will be in the group site, most likely 2 group sites. They hold about 35 people a site or alittle more. The park is still closed for the season and as soon as they open up you can start booking sites just tell them you are with the crx group. I have to call them back on Monday and give him an idea how many people are camping. I'm going to say 70 and if its more no big deal. Still would like to get a idea of how many people are going so if you could email me back that would be great. The Niagara site should be updated shortly (hoping) with more detailed info very soon. Any other question please feel free to email myself [email protected] or pm me.

second WHere the heck is Geoff... and what not.... his site is still down...... glad to see that you are here to give us some information.....
but there are alot of things that have to get straightened out about this meet..... Like who is actually in charge..... If Geoff is in charge that is great... .however.... it would be noce to get ahold of him so that people could ask him questions, and so that he could post relavant info.... etc....
hope it all comes together.... i would like to attend....

There was over a 100 cars last year. About half of the meet is usually campers, the rest come for the day.
I agree with Toxic. At the risk of sounding ungrateful and grouchy, I have to say that "Cloudpump" needs to show his face on the boards, not send a messenger.
This is what I see, and I hope I am wrong, but Geoff found the cool campground that is not open for the season yet and is telling us to call there when it opens and just start booking spaces out of the blue and since they don't know what's coming they won't realize they had a CRX meet there with 70 campers and that amount again showing up for the day until it's too late and of course that would mean we wouldn't be welcomed back again!

BTW: The park facilities look GREAT. They really do. I hope I am just jumping to false conclusions. Please tell Geoff to get is butt on at least one of the boards.

Well I'm arranging the camp site stuff and I'll work with Geoff on the rest of the details and split the tasks. Have to remember this is a provincial park and it's a place where a ton of people can just show up for the day so fro that respect its /cars will actually go. I'm hoping to give them a number next week or idea how much. Then I'll book the group sites which I would pay for myself and be in my name. Then each other camper just has to go to the front desk like normal and tell them your with the crx group and then pay for just yourself. That how the provincial parks work from what this Mark guy told me. He's in charge of the group sites. So really there is no need to book sites you just show up. To be safe I'll tell them we need 3 group sites.
So I hope that clears things up, you don't have to actually book a site just show up. But if you want your own privet site then you can book that on your own.
As for Geoff showing up well haha I can't baby site him but he doesn't have a GF (or it was a shemale) any more so I hope he will show his face at some point. I'll call him next week after I talk to the camp ground again and go over any other details then I'll do another post.

It amazed me that someone who had time to be on a computer all of the time to the point of running there own web site can just magically disappear.... It would be nice to hear from geoff...
Hope this all works out well.... i am game..
Blew my last car fund on my del sol buying it...
but took out a small loan for my taxes and there should be enough left over to FINALLY get the red b18 rex out of my garage and back onto the street...... ill be there. . .. WOO HOO

Geoff didnt "send a messenger" I called Mike and told him that alot of people were becoming disappointed and needed info.
I knew that Mike and Geoff dont live too far apart and contacted mike and got him to post here.
So I hope this info helps alleviate some worries and we still have a great meet!

Ya I'm going to tell him 3 group sites seems like there might be alot of people so I want to make sure we have enough room. I'll keep everyone post. And feel free to post any info I post here everywhere else. I guess I should post it on the resourse too unless someone else wants too.

I doubt I'll make it. I sold my CRX, and doubt Canada will let me over the border with guns. (they'll be too afraid I'm coming to take over) ... hahaha. *snickers* sticks and pine cones *grin*
Nah, just playing. I may try and make it, but I have so much going on this summer it's insane. If I do swing it into the schedule, I'll probably make it a day trip like the last couple years.

You have my vote...now I just need to know how to get involved in the camping information...I need as much information as possible. I will also be posting this information on my club's website (Club CRX of Northern VA/DC Metro). I know of two others within my club that are good to go this year. This'll be my second time there as I would have been there last year if I weren't in Iraq....see you there!!YellowVtec said:
