So I'm asking for your advice.

My CRX is old enough to vote and has 194,000 miles on the clock, so it's about time make the transition from daily driver to weekend project car.

That means I'm shopping for a new car. Does anyone have advice on a late model vehicle that might please a LONG-TIME CRX driver? Like our old cars it should be small, efficient and fun to drive.

I'm thinking about a Honda Fit, or some kind of Scion. Any ideas?

Thanks.

I've been test-driving cars for a while now, and I thin k I've decided that if my CRX goes, I will try and find another.

If not, I see shells and motors all the time, the whole package couldn't cost more than three or four thousand to put one together again. Sure beats a $400/mo car payment for a car I don't even like that much.

Either that or when I get rich I'll buy a Lotus Elise ;)
