ok revised: my car is a 88 crx dx just a shell, i made some deals with some stuff i had around and ended up getting a b18c1 already with the cable tranny and harness, the harness isnt for my car so i just used it for clips. i have the motor droped in with all the harness adjustments made as far as i know. i still need the following:
tps sensor(broke when putting motor in)
clutch cable
throttle cable
speedo cable
thermostat housing
and obd1 ecu harness clips(making my own conversion harness)

now all the following is as far as i have been informed so far
all the injectors will be wired directly to the ecu as well as the knock sensor and i cant remember but theres one or two more i was gonna wire in too

the dizzy has b16a1 written on it in yellow junk yard paint and i looked some numbers on it up and few people told me that the numbers are the same for the gsr dizzy too....dunno, so i need to find out what obd it really is i guess i can figure out from the plugs ill look tonight and post it up

another think with the dual point to multi point conversion.... when i get that info it pertains mainly for the direct zc swap, what is the point of this conversion if im directly wiring the injectors to the ecu? i dont think its needed, if it is what do i do and do i need the resistor box? im confused

To clarify, you have an 88 CRX HF, and already had a B18C1 engine kicking around that you want to put in the CRX? There are a few ways you can set this up, AFAIK. You can convert the car to OBD1, or convert the engine to OBD0, with a chipped ECU.

I'm going to assuming converting to OBD1 will be easiest. Got pics of your ride and the engine?

Welcome, btw! :)

welcome to the site, 88 r p. :D

remember, the clearer your post is, and the less belligerent you are, the better the info you'll get because members will want to help you, not flame you.

as far as your "D-S / A.D.D." comment goes, try to take heed when someone (like baker423) tries to tell you how you can help yourself. we are all pretty friendly on this site, so please calm down.

gl with your engine!

You can convert the dizzy to obd1 and still use the obd0 injectors with the resistor box.
You mean, convert the system, by replacing the dizzy and ecu with obd-1 ones.
You cannot "convert" the dizzy itself due to different mechanical internals.
Yes that is what I meant, change dizzy and ecu to obd1 but leave the low impedence obd0 injectors.

ok well im sorry your down syndrome or add is kicking in its not that hard to understand what i posted but its cool i already found most info out thanks for the interest in looking at the post at least
:rolleyes1: What the hell does down syndrome or ADD have ANYTHING to do with you lack of ability to form complete and coherant sentences?

With that said, i'm sorry that you're not bright enough to use proper english, punctuation, or are smart enough to form coherant sentences and thoughts with the use of proper sentence structure so that people may understand and TRY to answer your question.

I still don't understand what you have.
If hte Dizzy has the round obd0 plugs that look kind of clear colored, then if you use an obd0 ecu.
If the injectors are the low impedance, then you need the resistor box otherwise you don't.

Snap a picture of the dizzy and connectors and we could tell you whether it is obd0 or 1.

Pull out one of the injectors and see if it is low or high impedance.

i was just out looking at the dizzy plugs there obd0 i guess becasue there kinda clear but one thing that gets me is the stock dx harness one of the plugs fit and the other is 6pin square i looked at the harness that was on the motor and both plugs fit so the small round 2 wire plugs are exact the other one is a larger circle and has 7 wires, what im gonna do is just get some obd1 dizzy plugs and dizzy i guess because i already have the ecu, if i go the other route with a chipped ecu and keep the dizzy i have what would i get becasue i here that its wierd with the gsr intake mani due to the dual butterflys so to keep costs low which rd?..........

That B18C1 is going to run like **** on an OBD0 B16 program that was only intended for 1600cc.

There are no obd0 18cc programs out there, unless you know how to extrapolate the mapt yourself with a tuning program and a burner.

Any obd1 B18+vtec map will work, or you can easily modify any obd1 B16 series maps with crome for instance.
