What was it out of???? Is it an obd1 obd0? An obd1 will need wiring upgrades to run efficiently. The physical engine will bolt right up just keep the si tranny. I would personally rebuild it, there was a great write up on here a couple of days ago on the rebuild, but if you already have the engine then swap it.
it is out of a 95 civic 5speed.i dont know if its an obd1 or obd 0.how can i tell?

Should be obd-1 (92-95)
You definitely have an obd1. Since you have an Si you can use your stock harness if you toy with your map sensor a little and buy an obd0 to obd1 ecu jumper. I would refer you www.rywire.com . They seem to be the cheapest and peter is a good guy. $114 will get it to you shipped in about 3 business days. You'll need the obd1 distributor and they will show you how to wire it but do not by he $190 kit I'll give you more info later.
or you swap the manifolds and run it just like your A6
I bought the Same kit from Rywire.com ot works great

What scott said..
Just make sure you swap out the injectors off of your A6.
If memory serves me right the obd1 injectors are saturated and the obd0 injectors are peak and hold type.
Wouldn't the b7 run more efficiently on an obd1 setup? My z6 was experiencing alot of hesitation and ran rough, but after the ecu jumper was installed my car ran so much better.

Can you run the b7 on obd1 yes,but it'll be cheaper to run the setup obd0.
Its really a matter of choice.
Honestly if it were my motor I'd use the A6 head(if its still in ok shape) or at least the A6 cam in the B7 head.

I was just offering up a cheap "get you back on the road" idea.
running a z6 with a pm6 is very much different then running a b7 with a pm6.

i just took a look and the b7 and a6 maps are fairly similair....and both are nothing like a z6 map.

if i had a pm6 and i wanted to run that motor id install it and chip the pm6 with the proper b7 map right quick. no reason to go through the obd1 conversion for what hes tryin got do.

also, not knocking rywire, but $114 is a ton of money for a wiring adapter if the point is to ge tteh car back on the road

yea i just wanna get my car running again cause the a6 has a hole in the motor and oil leaks out and shuts off when i try to go.whats the fastest and cheapest way i can get my d15b7 in? and still run good
I do agree with you guys. I just had to upgrade to a p28 for vtec. If you know of another ecu jumper that's cheaper because im about to need another. I don't have time to make one so i have to order them and everyone want $140 before shipping. My z6 did run fine it just was rough, but as the similarities show it would be cost efficient to stay obd0.

We told you...

Just swap in the b7 engine minus the intake(as scott said) and run it obd0.
Just dont forget to swap in your old a6 injectors to the b7 intake. Also don't forget to use your old a6 dizzy.
GL...
