I teach during the day as well as consult with and build small businesses. Since I am pursuing a couple of good ideas, I will stop teaching through the fall. I need my days free so I am looking for after-hours jobs that would pay decently but not require a tremendous commitment.

Restrictions: I'ma fat bastard and standing on my feet for 8 hours is murder. Any sit down jobs I could get for big bucks are business hours. All else is crappy retail.

I am thinking Pizza delivery. Pro: Shorte does it and I have done it before. I get to drive my car and most of the income is untaxed. Con: My car will smell like pizza and wear out faster. Not crazy about it

I can also do tech support/system administration after hours if I can find one.

Any ideas?

Here's my resume (trimmed):
EDUCATION
Masters of Business Administration (Management)
Bachelor of General Studies (Business and Communications)

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
UNIVERSITY
Lecturer
Courses taught: Management Process Theory, Organizational Strategy

CHARLES R. DEWAR
Small Business Consulting

HOSPITAL
Senior Systems Administrator

DEWAR FINANCIAL SERVICES
Owner

GODFATHER'S PIZZA
General Manager

And many other off-resume ventures...

The pizza delivery thing is probably your best bet. As long as you are at a good store, you can make more $$ there than practically anywhere for such a 'low-skill' job, and the hours are right what you need... maybe you could buy another small car so that you don't have to ruin your CRX? I used to do delivery back in the day, and for my age there, i was making a GOOD amount of money... i would work any shift they'd give me... many times going over 50-60 hours per week if i could, just to make some decent $$
