Hello all,
My name is Wes and I'm a rexaholic, I'm on my 3rd CRX and second Si. I still have both Si's but only one runs right now. I have an 88 Si that was origanally Flint Black metalic, but the previous owner painted it gold and didn't do that good of a job so a new paint job will be in store soon. the 88 is my daily driver. My 89 Si is Flint Black Metalic, and has a d16y8 SOHC VTEC swap but it it making a knocking noise at rpm's over 4000, vtec doesn't kick in till 4500 the way I have it setup. I changed the rod bearing that was hammered out but that didn't help the problem. I'm glad to be a new member here and will tell all the CRX people I know about the site.

Well the 89 MIGHT become a shell but she's got cancer so I don't know if anyone would take her. Needs some body work too but I'll probably try to save her.

Once I get a few thing done to the 88 to help out with reliability (I swear I'm going to kill the previous owner with all the stuff they ghetto rigged) I'll wait for a 3 day weekend and make a trip down to Hastings again. Might have the d16y8 in it by then too who knows. We will meet again Sneak.

It's all about the canyon carving. Well not really but that's what's keeping me here. I'm only about 40 miles from Mount Rushmore so there are plenty of fun mountain roads up here. I still think if I get the rexes running again (ya the 88 Died no Idea what's wrong for sure no spark, dizzy is fine and I have power to the dizzy) it would be great to have a meet up here.

How is Mt. Rushmore? I saw a special on it the other day (Animal Planet). I have always wanted to go out there and see it as I am an amatuer photograher as well.
