hello people im new here ,my name is mitch,i own a POS1985 crx hf that ive been working on since 2002 i love the car and hope to finish it sometime soon but i highly dout it :lol: here is a few pics of what ive done to it . but i warn you its kinda riced out

I think you were saying the single carb was your old setup?

Anybody running individual throttle bodies and stripped interior is not "riced out" in my book 8)

I don't see any plates, is this a track-only machine?

Looks like a fun project.

the car is self came with a pretty sad DX 1.5 that the previous owner installed ,wich i blew up(we wont get into that ) lol so went and bought this 1987 d15a3 and threw it in the bay .

i then installed a headman headder and 2 1/4 straight exhaust pipeing with the big black chrome muffler ,some wires plugs and then bought cbr bike carbs of a memeber on RPR .They are from a 87 CBR600rr ,but the only problem was i needed a intake manifold so i fabbed one up useing some pipe and plate steel :lol: But it worked so i dont care lol but the guy i bought the carbs from sold me junk carbs so ther not on the car anymore and i have a new rebuilt set on the way :wink:

i bought the car for i thought was a good price $750 cdm but 10 minutes after buying it i was driving to go get something to eat ,and as i was going over a bridge i hit a pot hole and snapped the passenger torsion bar :x
I then pulled into Mcdonalds and when i was getting out i put my foot through the floor lol.So yeah it was in really rough shape

i ended up cutting all the floor out and putting new in (from where you feet go too where you butt sits and even where the spare tire goes :shock: and welded it all up :wink:
oh and the hole under body and fenders were sandblasted primed and then painted and then undercoated lol

i somewhat shaved the side molding but im not really diggin it ,but whatever. i made the rear bumper out of 2 bumpers and fiberglassed them together lol.I allso saw these fenders on ebay for 250 or something like that and said i can make those for way cheaper then that lol So i went to town and it ended up costing me 4 bucks worth of fiberglass and sand paper lol
The taillights i made out of steel and ended up being way lighter then the stock lights shocking i know but there gone now.I just ended up putting on some si ones from a newer crx (87 i think)

the rear side windows are out at the moment and lexan windows are going in soon ( i hope)

as for the ITBS no there not there carbs and yeas the car will be street driven just not very much ,just like a weekend kinda deal

oh and here is my other little project ive been playing with
so here we go i bought a 87 civic hatch for 200 with some frontend damage that i was going to make into a bush buggie ,but the damage was just to far gone so i made it into a trailor that i will fill with subs and amps for the yearly show out here in the sticks :lol:

and just so you guys no im the only guy with in 3 hours that has a honda or even a import .im surrounded with mustangs and firebirds and jacked up hillbilly trucks so the net is the only place i can really go for suport

it has been lowered and has been stripped down and im in the middle of metal work and just about ready to sandblast

oh and im sorry if my writing and what not is kinda all over the place im sorta in a rush lol

What's up with the dual-intake setup? Does that engine require more airflow than one intake can handle? :lol: And the taillights...why? The stock taillights are clean, I could sorta how some people would consider shaving them if they were going to french in some LEDs or something that looks clean, but those are like trailer lights and they aren't even flush-mounted or anything.

So that Civic-ass trailer was created for a car show? The only guy within three hours with a Honda? At least you might win the import class, haha.

That trailer really is the piece de resistance! The pic with the sun rays on the car with the trailer really is a classic. I don't care what anyone says!

i made the carbhat just because i could :lol: you know what i mean im sure there was no need for it but just for kicks i wanted to see what it would look like :lol: See thats how i am ,i dont care what people think because its not there car.if they dont like it then they dont have to look !!!
and with the tailights the same thing ,just like what i tell everyone i change my car more then you change your oil :lol: ill post one more pic of what it used to look like in a bit and i just took those taillights off like last week and put si ones
and are car show out here doesnt have any import class or anything like that

:lol: mad max lol thanks for the welcome and i dont get depressed when someone doesnt like my car because it isent theres ,i do this to make me happy and no one else

i just find it really funny that like 3 years ago everyone had neons and flashy bodykits and now if you dont have a plan jane pretty much stock looking car with some rare rims or spoiler your car is junk or not in with whats going on.Well i dont care thats not me ,i like to be diffrent iand i think i passed with flying colors :wink:
