Volk TE-37 FTW!

Picked them up today, they have Kumho ECSTA 711s on them with a good amount of tread left. A couple have a little curb rash because they are so wide and apparently the kid can't park but I think they were worth it for the price.

Mounted them on the crx and they do raise it up just under half an inch, but still maintain an acceptable gap with the fender lip. Gotta keep those dampers set stiff. Anyway, I think they look pretty good on the car.

I'll hopefully be putting the DA knuckles, AEM (gigantic) rotors, and GSR calipers on the car tomorrow. The calipers are pretty rusted on the outer surfaces (as MAtt can atest to) so I'm goign to finish hitting them with the wire wheel and put some rust proof, high temp paint on them. I' m thinking red is too bnoxious (though I'm pretty damn obnoxious at times), so maybe just a flat black?

I also just finished chipping the P28. I need to wire up the LC1 and drop in the cam and adjustable gear tomorrow. Man oh man I really hope I have time for all of this!

THanks for the compliments guys. Reminds me that I made the right choice.

Yes, thats my Mom's new Ridgeline behind the crx. SHe currrently mad that the crx is in her spot! She's also got an 89 civic hatch, and a 96 Bronco wiht a supercharger. The thing scoots like a crx but it weighs 6k lbs.

wheels are sweet, but sice is too big.
a bit big for my tastes on a crx...
This is one of the few cases where large wheels are used because they are required... and I don't think they look bad at all. Neil is also running 17s and his car looks completely normal with them.
