Wuz up every one. My name is Bryan and from OK. Glad that I found this site b/c I have found lots of useful threads. I have just p/u a 89 HF for $175 that I am working on for a autocross car, most of the time it will sit in the garage. In the past I have raced my 92 teg. For the past year I have been saying I'll try some thing new. So here I am. The car does need some work but I think I can get it ready by March for the firtst race. Once I get time I'll get some pix up. Well just wanted to say hi.

I'll get pix up some time this week, to lazy to do it right now.

Yea $175 was a good deal but it does need some work. Its really not in to bad of shape. I know a few people that are helping with the body. For now I am dropping in a a6 but I may change my mind to a b18 or b20. I am slowly working on a k20 swap. One of my friends has a part time shop so he is really hooking me up. Its just a base k20a2 out of a base line RSX. But to give the TQ for autocross we are putting in type-S pistons and doing a PnP on the head. Also the k20a2 hits tq faster then the a3 so I don't have to rev so high to get the tq. Either way it will be sweet when finished but it may be a while.

Welcome, sounds like it should be a fun car when done. I take it you're not too concerned about autocross classes?
no...with my last da I was in STS but it held me back from doing a swap. This time around I'm biulding a car for fun. I haven't raced in over a year so I am really iching to do so. Now I have to figure out what I wont for some suspension. My friend has a set of sprint springs that have maybe 30 miles and asking $50, so...... Besides that I have a good idea of what I wont. I used sprint springs for a while on my 91 and 92 teg. For the most part it was a real good ride.
