Hello and good morning to everyone. I just recently joined the forum as I have just picke up an 87 crx si. I have been perusing thru the posts just getting a feel for what I can expect. The rex has 211,000 miles and runs pretty good. Has the normal cancer over the rear wheels and is a stock unit. but hey for $200 I can't complain a bit. I will be perusing the posts as I have a high idle issue and it desperately needs new shocks so I am searching for info on these issues. If anyone has anything else to add it would be greatly appreciated as things to check besides your basic tune up stuff! Can't wait to hear from you all!

seeing as how I am at work right now I just made one of the pics my avatar. I will get more tonight as I will try and keep track of before and after progress. I want to remove the cancer and then try to fix the rear wheel well. then I am going to see if the paint buffs out or if I need to have her repainted.

Anyone have suggestions for shocks for just normal everyday driving comfort?

These are all I have for now. She is an 87 crx si with 212,000 miles that I paid $200 for. New tires arrived yesterday just waiting on the shocks/struts and K&N filter, I am hoping to get to the rust above the wheel wells this spring. Any tips would be nice. Especially how she idles around 2500 rpm cold and 1500 rpm warm.
