Well the 360 is already out, costs around $500 if you want all of the stuff with it. It breaks if you play it too long. So far the games aren't impressive (to me) but that Too Human game that has been in the works since it was anounced for the original PSX looks damn good.

The PS3 has been revealed with a redesigned controller compared to last year's E3 controller. Now it looks just like the old PSX/PS2 controller, one of the best ever made. It has a tilt sensor like some of the GBA cart games (kirby tilt n tumble). GT5 should be cool as hell, the new Final Fantasy game looks great as usual. Then there will be an ass load of other good games to follow...but then comes the price. The base system with the 20 gig hard drive is $500 and the upgraded system is $600!!! Even when I wait for the first price drop the damn thing is still going to be $400~$500!!! Ahhhh.

Next is the Nintendo Wii (pronounced we). It looks cool and has a neat-o controller that you wave around like a wand/sword. The new Zelda game looks cool. No HD support, graphics about twice as good as the Game Cube. It should look just like the PS3 and 360 on non HD TVs. Nintendo claims the fun is in the game, not the graphics. I am a Nintendo whore and will be in line buying this the morning it comes out. The WiFi network is free, the same network the DS connects to. You will be able to download old Nintendo, Sega, Turbographix and other games via the wireless connection. Best of all this thing should cost around $200 or so. I am willing to shell out $200.

So I guess I'll be getting a Wii and then a PS3 when the price drops a few hundred dollars. I think they are screwing themselves with this BlueRay deal but only time will tell.

Ive been occupying myself with my handhelds for a while. Some of my stay in china all I had was my psp so I did a bit of developing/prog small games for that. I have my whole modded xbox and psp. I also picked up DS for extremly cheap so thats keeping me extremly busy and also extremly interested in what Nintendo has to offer. I never got into game cube so there is a big gap from the originial nintendo and then straight onto the wii. (if I get one)

The 360 is a huge disappointment. Id rather play my regular xbox on hd for some games than handing $500+. My friends got their 360 when it first released. They were number 5? to get one on our local list-and guess what it does alllll day long.....SITS THERE AND DOES NOTHING! They dont play it, they claim no good games, but hey their kittens love playing on it.

E3 IMHO looks boring this year. There is so much media for the ps3 I honestly and just waiting for it to be release, ive heard enough about the specs and about the videos. Id like to see Nintendos booths. Yet there is one game I would pay money to go see- GTR2. If anyone in here is a racing game fanatic you know this game very well.

Im rambling. I guess im somewhat excited for the next gen consoles? I want a ds lite

I have a DS and I play it more than my other systems right now. Well...I do play my PS2 somewhat often. The Game Cube gets no love. It's a great system for when people are over drinking, but usually we load up the SNES or top loading NES for old 2D mario action.

There is a new 2D mario coming out for the DS next Tuesday!!! I can't wait to pick it up. I read a review on it and it sounds just as good as super mario world if not better. I picked up Metroid Hunters for the DS but the control scheme is so crappy I never play it. I'm a huge Metroid fan but I don't know if I will get around to finishing this game or not.

Im hooked on Animal Crossing :D I also got Brain Age which is fun to kinda make people do some of the tests and see how bad they fail! haha. I wanted to get a ds for a while then I saw the original Resident Evil was ported and I was sold, but then I started to look at AC and was hooked even more. Each of my systems has its perks.

Yet im still excited for the ps3 and Wii. 360 just didnt do it for me =\

huh, I love my 360, and no problems, my friends don't have problems either. It has one of the best controllers- I think so at least. A lot of haters out there

I personally am not excited for ps3 because it is just a ton of sony bs that every game person/engineer/software person of any kind says that it won't be much better than 360 if at all.(1080p is not going to happen apparently) ...... really the wii is the most exciting thing to come out in a long time. That is what I am waiting for. The whole sony vs microsoft thing is just a bit old and rediculous, I like nintendo's strategy.

I agree, im not trying to bash te 360 completly is just that a series of events locally have shown to me its useless. I did love the time I played PGR3. It looked sweet and im sure it would sound awesome with surround sound and a big screen, but unfortunatly it wasnt at my house when I played it

Nintendo does have a good strategy. I think its time to get over the whole MS vs Sony thing too. Its time for some good ol fashion gaming. I am excited for racing sims and whatnot, but I think I might have grown out of the shoot em up games for a while. They just dont appeal to me anymore. I like being able to goto someone who doesnt like games or anything and watch them have a good time playing Brain Age. Thats not something you get from showing someone how good the "graphics" are on a psp when you kill someone on a psp gta. Im excited for nintendo.

^Yeah, the MS vs Sony thing is pretty crappy. The Sony media frenzy is pretty crappy too. It is estimated that Sony will lose over a billion dollars on the PS3 in its first year! The Xbox 360 seems like it may soon have an edge over the PS3 in the states. The 360 will not sell at all in Japan. I wasn't a fan of the regular Xbox. Didn't like the controller and really didn't like any of the exclusive Xbox games. I'm not a fan of Halo and that's really one of the only stand out games. I like my Game Cube but there haven't been any noteable games on the sytem that caught my interest in a long time. Metroid Prime 2 was cool but not as good as Prime 1. RE4 was amazing but that came out over a year ago. The DS is really what has kept my interest. The doctor game is weird and my friends made fun of it until they started playing it and stayed at it for several hours. My mom, brother and a friend all bought DSs after playing with mine.

I really think the Wii may just steal back the market share for Nintendo this time around. They are targeting all of the people who normally don't play video games along with the traditional gamer. A market the PS3 and 360 will not come close to touching.

I actually wish companies were still making SNES games.

i agree with all of yall the MS vs sony is tiring and ive found a great game for the xbox for any racing fans its called "Forza Motorsport" and i also own a nintendo DS and i own AC but i have to find it (lost somewhere on my side table). brain age is fun for the sudoku section, and my current fav is Advanced wars:Duel Strike. and for the ps2 it always was picky if it would work im hoping the ps3 wont be like that. *sigh*

Not trying to be a fanboy here, but "Forza" was the worst attempt at a racing simulator I've ever seen.
How so man? I think Forza is one of if not the best racing/driving sims out there. I AM a little mad that I went to play the other day... and my 75% complete account has somehow been corrupted.
