Well the 360 is already out, costs around $500 if you want all of the stuff with it. It breaks if you play it too long. So far the games aren't impressive (to me) but that Too Human game that has been in the works since it was anounced for the original PSX looks damn good.
The PS3 has been revealed with a redesigned controller compared to last year's E3 controller. Now it looks just like the old PSX/PS2 controller, one of the best ever made. It has a tilt sensor like some of the GBA cart games (kirby tilt n tumble). GT5 should be cool as hell, the new Final Fantasy game looks great as usual. Then there will be an ass load of other good games to follow...but then comes the price. The base system with the 20 gig hard drive is $500 and the upgraded system is $600!!! Even when I wait for the first price drop the damn thing is still going to be $400~$500!!! Ahhhh.
Next is the Nintendo Wii (pronounced we). It looks cool and has a neat-o controller that you wave around like a wand/sword. The new Zelda game looks cool. No HD support, graphics about twice as good as the Game Cube. It should look just like the PS3 and 360 on non HD TVs. Nintendo claims the fun is in the game, not the graphics. I am a Nintendo whore and will be in line buying this the morning it comes out. The WiFi network is free, the same network the DS connects to. You will be able to download old Nintendo, Sega, Turbographix and other games via the wireless connection. Best of all this thing should cost around $200 or so. I am willing to shell out $200.
So I guess I'll be getting a Wii and then a PS3 when the price drops a few hundred dollars. I think they are screwing themselves with this BlueRay deal but only time will tell.
